THE FOUNDERS

FRENKY SIMANJUNTAK
CEO | Co-Founder
Frenky Simanjuntak has built his professional experience in civil society and development works, as well as private sector. He managed several flagship program during his tenure in Transparency International-Indonesia, including nation-wide corruption perception survey. He managed projects at several multi-national consulting firms, The World Bank, and PT Gojek Indonesia.

Frenky holds a master of public policy from Victoria University of Wellington, and bachelor in political and social science (Anthropology major) from University of Indonesia. His area of expertise is in policy and regulatory analysis, community engagement, governance and anti-corruption.

NURKHOLIS HIDAYAT
Chair of The Board | Co-Founder
Nurkholis Hidayat is a professional lawyer, member of Indonesia Bar Association, founder of Southeast Asia Legal Aid Lawyers (SEALAW) Network, and previously served as a director of the Jakarta Legal Aid Institute (LBH Jakarta-YLBHI).

Nurkholis holds a master of laws from the Melbourne Law School, the University of Melbourne and has a bachelor degree from the University of Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. His area of expertise covers business and human rights, environmental social governance, legal aid, criminal justice and anti-corruption (e.g, tax avoidance and evasion, and illicit financial flows).

MARYATI ABDULLAH
Co-Founder
Maryati Abdullah is a seasoned professional in civil society and development works. Currently she works at Ford Foundation for Natural Resource and Climate Change (NRCC). Prior to her current position, she works for 8 years as National Coordinator/Director at Publish What You Pay Indonesia. She is also an advisory board of LTRC program at The Brooking Institute USA, and Global Envoy at the Open Government Partnership (OGP)

Her area of expertise are economic development, extractive industries governance (oil, gas, coal and mineral mining sector), energy transitions, anti-corruption and integrity system, corporate accountability, citizen engagement and social accountability, parliament engagement and legislative accountability, as well as freedom of information and open data.
